Chapter 1
The thiefs ran through the town in despair, sacks of loot they stole were on their back. They panted and panted as they ran, they had a feeling that someone was following and watching them. The watcher has a great view, especially from above, he stood and watched for minutes, then he jumped down behind the thiefs.
"Hello there." A dried and cold voice came out from the shadowy figure. It has a cloak all the way down to its ankles and its head has two pointy ears. The wimpy thief turned around and was suddenly sent flying across the street, he landed with a "thud!", the wimpy one fainted. The bigger and bulkier thief tried to fight back, but no use, he decided to run away. Quickly, the figure gave chase. The thief ran 5 blocks and turned into an alley, the figure followed. But what the shadowy figure saw next was indescribable, the bulky thug was hollowed, and two spike-like things were jabbed in his neck, the two spikes disappeared and he fell down to the ground, he was dead. The dark figure looked around the dark alley to see who could've done all this, and a menacing laugh went off in the corner.
"Welcome to my parlor, said the spider to the fly, or in this case, the bat!" Said a dark, contrasting voice.
A beast stepped out from a shadow, it looked like it was made of stained glass, it has several spider features to it, the claws, the many eyes, and of course, spider legs sprouting from its back. Batman lunged at the beast and threw a fist at it, the beast grunted, then chuckled. Not the effect Batman was hoping for, the beast swung its leg at full strength and knocked Batman several feet away from it. Batman pulled a Batarang out of his belt and tossed it at the creature, it managed to dent the beast's glass-like skin, the beast let out a groan, it was hurt. Batman smiled as he tossed a couple more Batarangs at the beast, the monster was covered in pain. Angered, the monster let out an ear-piercing roar, the enraged beast leapt at Batman and smacked him straight across the face, flinging the hero against a wall. Just as the beast was about to finish Batman, a mechanical bat creature flew in front of him and attacked the monster, causing spark to fly everywhere.
"Kivat!" Yelled a lively voice. A young man walked in the alley quietly and fiercely, the mechanical bat flew at the man, who grabbed it. The man put the bat at his left hand and yelled, "BITE!", The bat bit into his hand and his vent became darker while colorful strands formed on his face. The man placed the bat into a belt on his stomach that was formed by chains, and is quickly covered in chains, his body changed shape and the chains exploded off of him. The young man is now covered in red, and white armor that looked like a bat, his eyes shone golden, and one of his legs were chained up. Batman looked at the strange armored man and watched, he wanted to see what this stranger could do.
