Disclaimer: I don't own Mohinder and Molly. Or Heroes. It's a shame.
A/N: I saw Mohinder pick up the green pushpin in one of the early episodes and this came to me. Leave a reivew if you like it so I can write some more.
The super left, muttering something about vacuuming and Mohinder sighed. While most of the mess was caused by those people looking for something, his father hadn't been the neatest person on the planet. Mohinder picked up a book and set it on a table, a small part of him accepting Chandra Suresh's death.
Later, after he'd talked to Eden and stared at the map for longer than he could stand, he saw the pushpin on the floor. Briefly, he hated that green pushpin and all it represented, a madness to find people with special abilities, the need to prove his research true. He wanted to crush the thing, go home, and make something of his life. It wouldn't have been crazy to do so. Instead he set it back in its box. Chances were it would've stabbed him anyway.
"Do you have a pushpin Mohinder?" He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box of the objects. Molly smiled and took a green one. His eyes followed it in her hand as she flipped open the atlas to the correct page. She trace a path above the streets and poked it into the page.
"I wish Peter and Claire would quit moving around," she complained. "Even if I can find them, it's just ridiculous."
"They're probably avoiding someone."
"Or he finally mastered teleportation and felt like showing off."
"Yes, or that," Mohinder agreed. Molly handed him the pushpin, tucking the atlas beneath her arm. She turned right onto the sidewalk. Grinning he caught up with her.
"Why don't you carry your own pushpins?"
She rolled her eyes. "Because when I carry them it sounds like I'm lugging around a ton of Tic Tacs. Somehow you manage to keep them quiet. And," Molly teased, "You know you like to hold them for me."
He laughed with her, having already admitted in his mind it was true.
