Oh my god. I just died. Elizabeth thought to herself, starting to cry. What I am I going to do, how the hell did I even end up here. She sat crying while tons of people passed by without noticing her. This doesn't even make sense! This freaking sucks! That was when he showed up.
A boy who had violet eyes, gray-blonde hair, and simple clothing approached her with caution.
"Excuse me young lady, but is everything alright? You seem troubled"
Elizabeth looked up, instantly annoyed. She didn't like him too much. This guy is a freaking ninny. Wait, what? I don't even know him. At least he didn't hear it.
"Do you know where I am?" She asked him, hoping he knew. He got a confused look on his face.
"You mean you don't know?" He asked her and she shook her head. Ninny Elizabeth thought.
"Oh, well you're in Shibuya, in the scramble crossing. But you're also in the UG." He told her. She gave him a weird look. The UG? What is that? But, at the same time, it sounded familiar to her. From her whack-a-doodle parents.
" So, this is like, the Reaper's Game? You know, a second chance at life?"
The strange boy seemed shocked at Elizabeth's knowledge. "Well, you catch on fast. How do you know about the game? It's mainly a secret."
Elizabeth began her life story. "Well, my parents met in this game. They were partners. And they were always talking about it to me. I thought that they were just some whack-a-doodles. But turns out they were telling the truth. Ninnies." Wait, Elizabeth thought, why did I call my parents ninnies? Oh well.
"So, what do people call you? Other than creepy?"
" I'm sorry?"
"Nothing!"
"Whatever. Anyway, my name is Yoshiya Kir-"
Elizabeth jumped up with her hands clenched into tight fists. Overly excited, she brushes off what he was going to say. "Screw that, I'm calling you Yoshi!"
"But, I would prefer Joushua…"
"YOSHI."
" Okay…can we make a pact? I don't want to be Reaper Meat."
"Fine… Yoshi."
Just as expected, the strange blue light surrounded the two of them. A feeling of someone being by her side started to fill Elizabeth. It felt like an essential, and it also felt familiar. That was when she realized that something was terribly wrong. She had forgotten about one important promise that was going to last even after death. After the weird lightshow, Elizabeth instantly began to pull Joshua to the all-familiar Hachiko statue.
"Where is she?" Elizabeth said looking around frantically.
"Who are you looking for?" Joshua asked her. She continued to look around, completely ignoring him.
"Ah, there she is." Elizabeth said, pulling Joshua to a girl looking at the statue. When Joshua looked at Elizabeth's face he realized she was really pissed off. When Elizabeth got to the girl she started to shout.
"Where the hell have you been?" She screamed at her, snapping the other girl out of whatever thoughts she was having about the statue.
"Sorry, Elizabeth," the girl started, "but sometimes it takes a while to piss off an electric eel in the middle of the ocean. So, who is this guy that's following you around?"
"Oh, yeah. This is my ninny partner, Yoshi."
"It's Joshua."
"Whatever, Yoshi. So, this is my fail best friend, Stella."
"Well, excuse me."
"I don't know what's wrong with me. I just can't stop it." Elizabeth said with a hint of despair in her voice. She quickly recovered and moved on.
"Anyway we need to find you a partner before the noise eat you or something." She said, "But who?" she looked like she was thinking about what to do when Joshua interrupted.
"I have the perfect person for the job." Then he put the creepiest smile on his face. Elizabeth started to glare at him.
"Who?"
