A new story... new plot... new adventure... and... new partners?

Ghost belongs to ghost... Maxie belongs to Max Taylor... Vinny belongs to Pyro or V.B., whatever you call him… and Kai is mine! MINE! Mwuhahaha!

Vector stood in front of his class, quieting them all down... surprisingly, they were quiet already. He scrutinized his class carefully, making sure they were all there. He then smiled and wrote 'perfect' on his roll book.

"Okay, class... today happens to be the day of your first major assessment…" he said proudly to his half-asleep class. "Oh, why are you all asleep? It's a perfect Monday morning!" he said with a smile, showing off his white, pointy teeth.

"Well… we just finished kicking Eggman's fat ass yet again!" Knuckles yelled from the back of the room.

"Unlike you, I was busy helping the fatass take over…" Shadow muttered from the dark corner of the classroom…

"And, me and Knuckles was setting our future wedding…" Rouge mumbled. Knuckles smacked her on the back of the head. "I mean… we were fighting over the Master Emerald…" she giggled nervously.

"Well, this major assessment is more than half of your final grade here in Life Science…" Vector said with another smile.

"Well, what is it? Let's get it over with!" Max said loudly.

"You are… going to be assigned a partner… and… take care of this!" Vector said, holding up a few chao eggs.

"Vector… they're chao…" Sonic laughed out.

"Not just any chao… these chao were trained ever since they were laid-"

"How can you train a chao without hatching it first?" Amy asked Vector.

"Just… do it! I'll assign the partners… and since there aren't enough girls in this class, we might have to have groups of three…"

The boys all stared at Vector in horror.

"I said 'might'" Vector repeated the word that caused some terror.

The students sighed, hoping to be assigned with the boy/girl of their dreams. Shadow, of course, didn't care… Max was hoping it wouldn't be Shadow… and Rouge anticipated for Knuckles.

"Okay… let's do this… Amy, you're assigned with Shadow." Amy's eyes widened, pointing her eyes to Shadow.

"N-n-n-not Sonic?" she stuttered.

"Nope… we need to spread the class out… new partners… Rouge, your husband's Espio… and your brother-in-law, Sonic…" Vector said, handing her a chao egg.

"SONIC? Nooooooooooooo!"

"No way in HELL that Sonic's my brother!" Espio yelled.

"Next, Max and Shadow…"

Max shot Shadow a dirty look. Shadow narrowed his eyes, giving her a filthy smirk. How Max despised that dirty smirk.

"And… oh… another group of three… Vinny… Ghost… and Kai… Kai, you're the mother, of course… and you're the husband-"

"Aaack! What the HELL? Sonic! Don't throw the egg!" Rouge's screams filled the classroom.

Sonic shrugged nervously, picking up the crying chao. The poor thing was crying hysterically and running away from Sonic.

"See? It hates you already…" Rouge murmured.

Espio sighed, shaking his head. "What are we naming him?" he asked monotonously.

"How about… umm… let's name him after Knuckles!" Rouge said with a smile.

Both Sonic and Espio shook their heads. Rouge sighed.

"Anyway, back to you guys… Vinny you are now Kai's-"

Brother-in-law or husband? Actually, only 2 people in the WHOLE world know… and they are the owners of Ghost and Vinny! But, only 1 knows the 'twist' that changes the whole story… and he is one of the boys listed above…
