Promise Kept

I sit here alone,
On the beach,
Waiting for him to return.
The water laps at my feet,
As I await his arrival,
For he promised me.
He promised me that he'd stay,
But then he had to leave,
To go and save the worlds.
I do not know if I can still trust
him,
For he has not kept that promise,
But I can't blame him that he was
Chosen.
I think about the day we met,
He promised me we'd see the worlds,
Riku was there too.
I also remember the keychain,
Oathkeeper,
That he promised to bring back.
He promised me that he'd come back,
And yet he has not come,
I am awaiting him.
And now I sit here,
In doubt,
As the stars shine brightly.
I look up at the midnight sky,
Wondering,
Will he keep his promise?

This was written out of pure boredom because I am sick today. And I had some inspiration from 'Sanctuary - Utada Hikaru', at least whatever they actually have released so far. In the shower. Yep, inspired inside the shower. Shut it! I know I'm weird! Anyways, this is written from... Kairi's Point of View! Finally not from like.. Sora's. Anyways, enjoy!
