Hey everyone! I know I haven't been writing for a long long time and I'm so sorry! I just came back from vacation and while I was there I wrote a couple short fics! This one is a rose-scorpious based fic! The POV changes in the last paragraph! I've never done a fic on this pair so I hope you guys enjoy it(:

Rose Weasley stood in the Great Hall, surrounded by her fellow first years. She looked to her right and saw her cousin James Sirius Potter sitting at the Griffindor table with his friends. He saw her looking and winked at her in encouragement. To her left stood her other cousin, Albus Severus Potter, who was trembling from fear.
"Don't worry Al! I'm sure we'll both be in Griffindor!" She comforted him.
"Easy for you to say! You're a Weasley! Weasley's have always been in Griffindor"
"Hey! You have some Weasley blood in you too!"
"SCORPIOUS MALFOY" Headmistress McGonagoll's voice echoed in the hall.
A boy, rather tall for his age, with sleek blonde hair and ice cold eyes stepped out from the mob of students and made his way up the steps and towards the headmistress. Rose studied the boy carefully. So this was the famous Malfoy that her father had told her to look out for. To Rose, he didn't seem so intimidating. In fact, he seemed pretty scared. His eyes kept darting around the room and he was breathing quickly when he sat down on the stool and placed the sorting hat on head. All of a sudden, ice met ocean as their eyes found each other. Rose heard her father's voice in her head telling her to look away. Telling her that he was the enemy. That there was no way that that could ever change. Rose knew that their destiny had been written even before they were born, but as she gazed into those ice blue eyes she couldn't help but think that there was something else in there. Something different from what everyone thought about the Malfoys. Rose offered a small smile of encouragement and wasn't surprised to see the smile returned.
"SLYTHERIN!" The sorting hat yelled out.
As Scorpious made his way to the Sytherin table and sat down, he glanced back to the group of first years at the front of the hall, wondering about the girl with the bushy red hair and ocean blue eyes. He too knew that destiny had them destined to never be friends, but that glance, and that smile had him convinced that maybe he should steer clear of the written path and write his own destiny.
Hope you guys enjoyed it! As always Reviews are greatly appreciated (:
