Plot

Growing up under the strict supervision of both her father and brother was a chore that Freyja had barely managed to accomplish without throwing herself into another dimension. Day after day had she spent either training along with the Valkyries whom saw her as their leader, or practicing her magic. The Vanir Goddess was forbidden from setting foot outside the castle, let alone leave the grounds of Vanaheim. That was until she had matured enough to be accounted as a fully developed Goddess. Once her father, Njord, was content with her progress, he had arranged for both her and Freyr, her twin brother, to be relocated to Asgard, or, to be more precise, the grounds of Asgard. As her relocation was finalised, so was the arranged marriage to Odr, a beautiful yet hot tempered God who was not too keen on treating his newfound fiancee with due respect and care and Freyja was soon to realise that this was not the future that she desired for herself. However, not many demigods would go against the wishes of those from Vanaheim…apart from one.

Background Information:

-Freyja: is considered to be the goddess of Love and Beauty, but is also a warrior goddess and one of great wisdom and magick. She and her twin brother Freyr are of a different "race" of gods known as the Vanir. Many of the tribes venerated her higher than the Aesir, calling her "the Frowe" or "The Lady." She is known as Queen of the Valkyries, choosers of those slain in battle to bear them to Valhalla (the Norse heaven). She, therefore, is a psychopomp like Odhinn and it is said that she gets the "first pick" of the battle slain. She wears the sacred necklace Brisingamen, which she paid for by spending the night with the dwarves who wrought it from the bowels of the earth. The cat is her sacred symbol. She was the essence of sexuality. Utterly promiscuous, She took all the gods as her lovers – including the wicked Loki– but her special favorite was her brother Freyr. Freya had a husband, too, an aspect of Odin named Odr; he was the father of Her daughter Hnossa. When Odr left home to wander the earth, Freya shed tears of amber.
- Freyr: Freyr is Freyja's twin brother. He is the horned God of fertility. Freyr was associated with sacral kingship, virility and prosperity, with sunshine and fair weather. He is known as King of the Alfs (elves). The Boar is his sacred symbol, which is both associated with war and with fertility. His golden boar, "Gullenbursti", is supposed to represent the daybreak. He is also considered to be the God of Success, and is wedded to Gerda, the Jotun.
- Odr: In Norse mythology, Óðr (Old Norse for "Divine Madness, frantic, furious, vehement, eager", as a noun "mind, feeling" and also "song, poetry"; Orchard (1997) gives "the frenzied one"[1]) or Óð, sometimes angliziced as Odr or Od, is a figure associated with the major goddess Freyja as her husband. After Freyja gave birth to Hnossa, Odr had left her to travel earth.
