Chapter 1: A new world
Authors note- hi all! As some of my few regular readers may have noticed I like writing Star Craft and Inuyasha stories. This one I have very high hopes for because it is so unique compared to many others I have read. I also would like to address my other stories; I probably will not be continuing either of them. After having my computer crash and not writing for 4 moths or something like that, I have lost my inspiration and doubt ill regain it. I also would like top ask that all readers write in to correct my spelling and give me as many tips as possible . Thankz so much for deciding to read my story. Plz enjoy.
Sesshomaru looked down on the valley below, the wind wisped through tall grass and every thing seemed to be in order. Yet for some reason he the great lord of western lands felt somewhere in his kingdom was a force he could not control, and it was defying him...
smack one crushing slam of Inuyasha's fist ended another Shippo moment. Kagome spun around and went ballistic on Inuyasha for the third time that day.
"Inuyasha," she yelled while Shippo ran to hide behind her, "Why do u have to be so mean to Shippo!"
But before Kagome could continue, the air was filled with a long yet cut off piercing scream.
Miroku spun around looking behind them "That sounded like it come from that village we passed," The villagers might need our help."
"Let's go Kiarara," Sango yelled jumping on the larger form of her fire cat with Kagome, while Inuyasha sped ahead quickly passing Miroku.
"Inuyasha be careful." Kagome yelled from atop Kiarara's back, "I sense a shikon jewel shard." Inuyasha merely continued running making no acknowledge meant to Kagome's words.
"Like any demon shard or not could take me" he thought gaining running faster and widening the gape between him and the others.
When the group arrived at the village they saw nothing but massacre. Bits and pieces of destroyed buildings and food lay strewn about the dirt and the air reeked of blood.
"It appears we are too late," Miroku stated.
"Yes but where're the bodies?" Sango asked examining the area. Sure enough not a single body or even limb lay in view.
"Do you think the people escaped?" Kagome questioned almost to the others.
"Nah, judging by the damage whatever it was, it was strong," Inuyasha answered scanning the area, "it probably-"
"Wait," Kagome interrupted, "I see a glow!" The young miko ran toward a destroyed building. After a while searching she uncovered a box from the rubble inside the box she uncovered a piece of the shikon shard. The other noticing it walked into what remained of the house to look at it.
"If what ever did this was after the jewel shard why didn't it take it?" wondered Sango aloud.
"Is it possible whatever it was, wasn't after the shard" Miroku suggested.
"If it didn't want the shard then what did it want?" Inuyasha asked frustrated at the new possibility.
"I'm not sure but I think we should search for whatever did this," The monk suggested. "otherwise it could cause more damages." Without another word the group got up and began to search.
Only a few steps later Kagome found something from her time.
"These are tire tracks" Kagome pointed out to the group.
"Tire tracks," Miroku repeated curiously
"Yes from my time," I'm sure you'd all love to hear Kagome's rather boring education on cars but I decided to cut it out and leave it at that. Sorry
okay then first to address the stars, I have decided that I prefer stars to saying authors note. Next up I'd like to inform u that although this was small if I get some reviews saying people liked it, and of course I need pointers too, then ill write a longer one and continue this story which I have high hopes for. Please review I need the help and encouragement.
