This is sort of a continuation of Never Leave Me but you don't need to have read that first. It works well either way. Enjoy. Please review.

Always With Her
The snow was beautiful. It looked so perfect and pure. She liked to watch it fall. She liked to feel the tiny flakes land on her face and in her hair. She wished it could last forever but she knew it couldn't. Nothing ever did.
She missed his smile, the feel of his arms around her waist and the sound of his breathing as he slept next to her. She missed Jesse.
It had been a year since they had lost him. He had been their brother and best friend. He had been the love of her life. But most importantly he was her daughter's father.
She looked at the tiny baby in her arms with a sad smile. She had bright red hair and grey-blue eyes. Emma wished he'd known about her. He would've been an amazing dad. She hadn't found out she was pregnant until the day of his funeral. She'd never thought she could feel so sad and so happy at the same time.
She'd felt like that a lot this past year. Every time the baby kicked, the day little Jessica was born and every time she looked at the little one and saw more of Jesse in her.
So many times she'd thought of just giving up, of running away from everything. She knew she couldn't. She was lucky really. She still had her family around her. They'd been there for her, crying with her when she was sad and laughing with her when she was happy. And she had her beautiful baby, proof that life had to carry on.
She would always love him. She knew he would always be with her, she saw him every time she looked into their daughters eyes.
