Ally's POV:

People say that your eyes are the window to your soul. That's why I wear colored contacts. It's not that I have a lot to hide, it's just there are some things I would like to have never leave the tight confines of my brain. Secrets I want to keep. It was never really easy for me to let people in. The one person I did let in, betrayed me and I blame it on my eyes. Your eyes make you weak, simple as that. It's not a theory that I like to share with most other people because my perspective is often misunderstood. If you had a sign above your head that shows everyone what you're thinking all the time, don't you think that you're more vulnerable now? Well, if what they say is true, then your eyes make you weak.

Austin's POV:

My life isn't as simple as other people think. They expect me to eat, sleep, and breathe football. As if it's my only priority. Ever since i was old enough to pronounce the word football my parents decided that I was going to love the sport. And I did, for a while, until I found what I'm actually passionate about: music. When I turned eleven, my uncle gave me my first guitar. I never thought much of it until he took me to one of his band's concerts. The way his fingers flew up and down the fret-board was mesmerizing and I got chills just watching him play. But, my parents squashed that dream as soon as they saw another interest start to arise that might compete with football. But I can still practice in secret.

Thanks for reading the teaser for my first ever fanfiction. The first chapter will be coming soon.
