Hundley's Crazy Obsession
"Hundley, come back here." Jackie told her as she chased her.
Hundley ran right into the bathroom and dangled Jackie's sock over the toilet.
"Hundley Jane, if you throw mommy's sock in there you're going to timeout." Jackie warned her.
Jackie's watch, Nick's sunglasses, the remote control, and Boone's hat had already been victims of Hundley's toilet obsession and Jackie was not in the mood to fish a sock out of there as well.
Jackie wasn't sure why Hundley had suddenly started throwing things in the toilet, she'd done it for about a week and Hundley loved doing it, after she'd throw something in there she'd wave at it as if to say bye-bye.
Nick had searched for over an hour for his sunglasses before Jasmine had found them floating in the toilet bowl.
She'd come out of the bathroom and said "Daddy, I found your sunglasses but I'm not getting them out, that's icky."
Hundley took Jackie's threat of timeout seriously though because instead of throwing the sock into the toilet she raced out of the bathroom and back down the hall.
Jackie sighed and chased after her and she finally manage to reclaim her sock, much to Hundley's dismay.
The child cried in protest.
"You're fine." Jackie assured her before taking her downstairs.
She hoped that maybe if Jackie took her downstairs with the other kids she'd keep busy and forget about the bathroom for a while because Jackie wasn't sure if she had the energy to chase her upstairs again, and she certainly didn't want to have to get anything else out of the toilet.
