She woke up to the noise of her alarm clock. That annoying beeping noise was getting on her last nerves. Instead of hitting the "snooze" button, she picked up the alarm clock and threw it at the wall. Now that she was up, she had no other choice but to get up and get dressed. She went to the bathroom and brushed her hair, brushed her teeth, and then put on her make-up. She went down stairs and smelt breakfast. Eggs, Sausage links, and toast were what were on her plate. She began eating her breakfast.
"So what do you think your first day of school will go?" asked her mom.
"Boring...as it always is." The girl said, taking a sip of her orange juice. Her mom sighed. "You are just like your father..." her mom said, smiling softly. The sound of a horn could be heard in the distance.
"Oh! There's the bus! You better high-tail it out there." Her mom said as she handed her daughter her back-pack and watched her walk down the drive way and onto the bus.
The girl looked around for a seat. She found none besides the one near the center of the bus, near a guy with jet black hair. She walk towards the seat and sat down. The bus then began to head toward the High School. The girl heard the conversation the guy next to her was having with the boys in front of them.
"Bow Chika Bow Wow!! It must be your lucky day! You have a cutie sitting next to you!" said the brown haired boy, smiling as he laughed.
"Shut the fuck up, Tucker! I swear I will kill you one of these day." Said the black haired guy.
"Ah come on man! You just jealous because you don't have a girlfriend!" said the blonde guy.
"Yeah, well you don't have one either so I would stop talking if I was you!" the guy said. The blondie shuted up.
"You guys talkin' 'bout me!?" The girl said, with an evil glare. The two guys in front ducked back into their seat. "That's what I thought." She said.
"Geeze your mean." Said the guy beside her.
"You got a problem with it?!" she said, glaring at him.
"Nope. Anyway, my name is Leonard Church, but my friends just call me Church. What's your name?" Church asked
"What's it to ya?" she asked.
"Oh feisty aren't we?" Church said with a devious smile.
She smirked. "The names Tex."
"Well it's nice to meet you, Tex. Oh! The two guys in front are my two best friends. The brown headed one is Tucker and the blonde is Caboose. They can be annoying and stupid, but their good fellows."
"I'll make note of that." She said.
"So, are you new here?" asked Church.
"Nope. I have lived here all my life." Tex replied.
"Oh! Then how's come I have never seen you before?"
"I dunno."
"Hey, is it okay if we be friends, if that's okay with you, that is? You look like a person that hardly has no friends." said Church as he extended his arm to shake her hand.
"uh...Sure. why not? It's worth the shot." she said with a smile and shocked his arm.
"This year might turn out to be interesting." she thought to herself.
