Kagome looks at the sky while everyone sleeps. She sighs deeply and startes to cry. She looks at the sleeping inuyasha. After a recent fight, Inuyasha choose to be with kikyou in the end and not her. She was heartbroken. She looked back at the sky, she started to feel tears come down her eyes.
WHy? why must it be ths way? I love you yet you decide to go to Kikyou. I feel so alone. thought Kagome
Kagome looks away from the stars, looks at her companions. Her eyes rest on Miroku. She keeps staring at him.
Why cant i stop staring at him. He....he looks kinda handsome. Oh god why is my heart racing? Thought Kagome
Kagome looks away from Miroku. She suddenly hears movement and looks back that way to find that Miroku. Miroku looks into her eyes and can tell she was crying.
"Why are you crying Kagome?" Asks Miroku
"It is nothing miroku" She wipes away the tears in her eyes "Just go back to sleep." Said Kagome
"Something is wrong. does it have something to do with Inuyasha?" Asks Miroku
"no...no..it doesn't have nothing to do with him. I just feel out of sorts right now." Said Kagome
"Why?" Asks Miroku
"I just dont know." Said Kagome
"Ah...i have just the cure. Come with me." Said Miroku as he got up and left the campsite.
Kagome gets up and walks away from the campsite. She follows Miroku to a hill. He sits down, and motions for Kagome to do the same. Once she sat down, Miroku came really close to her and gave her a hug. Kagome, just sat there, quietly. When Miroku finished hugging her, he moved slightly away and looked into her eyes. He Moved his hand to her face and moved some hair away. He smiled at her. Kagome blushes.
"Now tell me what is wrong." asked Miroku serriously.
"I..i dont want to talk about it." Said Kagome
"the only way you can feel better is if we talk about it." he grabs kagomes hand and holds it "Please tell me what is wrong" Asked Miroku.
"Okay okay, It is about Inuyasha. He made the decision to go to kikyou and not me and i feel alone and helpless. I dont know what to do....i dont know if i could love anyone anymore."Said Kagome
"Ah..you have to love again Kagome. I...I am sorry about Inuyasha." Said Miroku
"I think i shall never love again." said Kagome
"Really? what if i did this?" Asks Miroku
Miroku moves in closer. he takes his hand and grasps her chin. He starts to lower his lips to hers. Soon his lips meet with hers. Kagomes eyes go wide and then close. Miroku puts his arm around her and pulls her closer.
Can this be true or am I dreaming. Oh man i think im falling for Miroku. Thought Kagome
Wow, i am actually kissing a woman. Not just any woman, the one i loved for a long time. Thought Miroku
Miroku kisses Kagome for a couple more seconds then stops. He moves away from her. Kagome looks at the ground.
"Are you okay now Kagome? Please say yes "Asks Miroku
"I...Im fine. Thanks for trying to cheer me up." Said Kagome as she started to get up.
"wait!!!" miroku grabs her hands and pulls her to him "dont go. stay with me tonight.....please?" Asks Miroku
"I...I sorry" Sorry Miroku, my heart still belongs to Inuyasha. "Good night" Said Kagome
Kagome heads back to camp, leaving Miroku to look at the stars and think.
Man, I love Kagome. I wish she felt the same way i do. But i guess it will never happen Thought Miroku as he gets up and heads Back to camp.
WHen he reaches camp, he sees that KAgome is already in her sleeping bag, asleep. He walks to his spot and sits down to sleep. Before sleep takes him, he looks at KAgome one more time.
"Goodnight Kagome." Wispears Miroku
