Kenji's Song

It might be fathers day, but the only present Kenshin will be receiving is a song on a note, detailing all the hurt he has caused to his son. And the pain a child has seeing a mother cry over a father that is never there.

I'm only so young

And only so strong

Yet all that I do

is done all for you.

I'm growing up without you

And it hurts to say,

That I'm so deprived

Of one's fatherly way.

I'm always without

You come and you go

As quick as a blink

And that's made me think...

I hate you now, Daddy,

You make me so mad

I wish you would go

And just die in the sands

You left us here

And it makes Mommy sad.

And when you do that

It makes me madder than mad.

This parent's day, You won't get a present,

But not because you're not here

Only because you've made me forget

That you were once dear...

This orig-Oh, (Cough), right, well... Hello, for starters ^^'

But to the point, this originally was not meant to be a rhyming poem... it just kind of... came together that way ^^'

I hope you enjoyed and don't get the wrong idea! I LOVE KENSHIN TO NO END! But, as we all can gather, his son, Kenji, is not to fond of him~

This one never did appreciate that portion of Ruruoni Kenshin T^T
