Skye and Ward had just gotten married and moved to small town. They weren't Mr. and Mrs. Ward though. They were Mr. and Mrs. Brown. It was Skye's first undercover mission. There was a woman in the town they had just moved to who was thought to be an alien. After meeting this woman, many people had gotten sick with a disease no one had seen before. There were no fatalities and the victims always got better. The woman came over to their house the day they moved in. "I'm Melody Peters," she said, "I brought some cookies." "Nice to meet you Miss Peters." Skye said, "I'm Michelle Brown and this is my husband Daniel Brown." They had a nice long conversation and by the time they were done, Skye and Ward were sure that Melody Peters was not an alien or at least not a bad one. After she had left, Skye began to feel terrible. First she had a headache, then she was throwing up, and now she was coughing so hard she could barely breath. Unfortunately, Ward was at work and Skye didn't have the strength to call anyone. She could only hope that Ward came home soon. Not too long afterward, Melody came over. She knocked, but Skye didn't even have the strength to open the door. She saw that something was wrong from the window and found a key under the doormat. Melody went in and saw that Skye was very sick. She immediately went back to her house and got some soup. This had happened before and the soup always cured it. But this time it didn't. So she called the first person on Skye's contacts: Coulson.
