*I do not own Harry Potter! It belongs to J. K. Rowling*

Hermione Granger was too concerned with her Advanced Arithmancy book as she walked down the hallway with Harry and Ron, to care what they were talking about. "Hermione, did you hear me?" Ron asked Hermione with an annoyed expression. "Hm," Hermione questioned, finally looking up from her book. "Oh, sorry I was studying." "Studying! It's the first day of term! You haven't even been you your first class yet!" Ron sounded shocked even though he was one of Hermione's best friends and knew this was her all the time. Harry decided to step in before a full-on argument happened between his two best friends. "Well, me and Ron are headed to potions," Harry started to steer Ron towards the stairway that lead to the potions dungeons. "Oh, ok. I'll meet you there shortly," Hermione responded as she started to walk down a different, darker corridor. Hermione put her book in her bag and pulled out her time-turner, mumbling about being late for her Arithmancy class. As she started to turn her time-turner, she felt two hands on her waist. Startled, she dropped her time-turner, which fell straight into her open bag. Before she could see who was behind her, those two hands spun her around. Then she was instantly met by a pair of lips on her own and the oh so familiar smell of spearmint. As their lips broke apart, she started up into the grey eyes of her boyfriend, Draco Malfoy. "Draco! We could be seen!" Hermione whispered harshly as she tried to pull herself from her boyfriend's strong arms but ended up failing miserably. "We'll be seen if you keep talking," Draco smirked as he kissed Hermione again. Hermione sighed into the kiss before realizing what she was doing and then pushing her boyfriend off her. "Draco. We really have to be more careful. Our relationship is bad on so many levels. I don't want your dad to find out." "Hermione," Draco started to say but flinched as his left arm started to burn. He definitely didn't need Voldemort to summon him as he was having a secret meeting with his secret girlfriend. Draco hadn't told Hermione about Voldemort's plans for him. If he could help it, she would never need to know if he defeated Voldemort. But, Draco knew only Harry would be able to defeat the dark lord. Hermione pulled Draco out of his train of thought as she put her hand on his arm. "I'm sorry Draco. You know I want to be with you. I know it's a rough time right now but, soon we'll be happy and free to tell our friends and family about us." She reached up and kissed him once more before turning and picking up her time-turner. "I'll see you in potions later," Draco said as he turned to leave. "Ok but, remember we hate each other," Hermione smiled "Oh and by the way, hold back on the toothpaste next time." "Come on, I know it's your favorite," Draco smirked that smirk that made Hermione's knees weak. "I know. But, you over do it," she replied with a smile that Draco couldn't get enough of. "I love you." "Love you too Granger." And with that Hermione turned her time-turner three times and walked right into her Arithmancy class on time.
