Ronald Weasley was restless. There was a mystery that he could not solve and this fact kept nagging at him. He had never been fond of mysteries. Having three meals a day was usually much more preferable, than solving a mystery. But this one was special. It concerned his friend Harry Potter.
The emerald-eyed messy-haired Saviour of the Wizarding World was dating someone. Ron was sure about this. But his friend never answered questions about his love life, just smiled. This mysterious smile annoyed red-headed boy to no end. The fact that Hermione, his girl-friend, had repeatedly told Ron to stop pestering their friend, annoyed him even more.
That's why Ron had been practicing Disillusionment Charm and Confundus Charm (he had to fool Harry's map) in an empty classroom and waiting for the chance to discover Harry's secret.
And finally two days before the end of their eighth year Ron finally got the chance he needed. Hermione was busy studying for her last N.E.W.T.s in Ancient Runes; Harry, Ginny, Neville and Seamus were playing Exploding Snap in the common room. No one was going to stop him.
Ron confunded Harry's map, disillusioned himself and managed to follow his friend in his quest along the corridors of the castle. Everything went smooth up to the moment when Harry met his beloved. Ron could not believe his eyes. It was...
The red-haired man fled after having witnessed their second kiss.
Later that evening, when everyone was having dinner in the Great Hall, Hermione turned to Harry.
"Why have you done this to Ron?" She whispered, watching discreetly her boy-friend who looked pale and was barely eating anything.
"He had to learn that sometimes it's better to keep his nose out of other people's affairs. There are some things that should remain secret. Sometimes ignorance is bliss."
