Rita and Repede
Rita stared out the window as the rest of the team slept. I will save the blastia, I can't let them get hurt! She thought to herself. She looked over at Estelle sleeping on the bed next to her and smiled. She then felt a tugging at her leg.
"huh?" She looked down and saw Repede, staring at her with puppy dog eyes. "what do you want, mutt?"
Repede whined and tugged at her leg.
"What you wanna go out?" Rita asked.
Repede immediately jumped up in the air, ding a backflip in joy. He landed on the ground and panted hard. Then began to lick Rita happily.
"Eww! Gross! Get off!" She said, pushing him off.
Repede stared at her with a look that said, "what's wrong?"
"Stupid dog. I got half a mind to put you outside for the night!"
Repede whined and curled up around her feet.
"UGH!" Rita said, kicking Repede.
Repede flew into a nearby wall and yelped.
Rita merely scoffed. "Stop getting all cozy with me, go bug Yuri."
Repede smiled and leapt up onto Rita.
"What the hell is your problem?!" She asked, trying to push him off.
Repede refused to move.
Rita growled. "Flickering blaze, burn!" she shouted as fireballs shot out of her hand and hit Repede. Repede hit the ground hard, his fur singed all the way from the front of his muzzle to halfway down his right side. He yelped in pain and began to try and lick his wounds clean. Rita then noticed something. She had burned Repede's other eye, making it impossible for him to open.
"Oh no…Repede…I-I'm sorry I-"
Repede turned away from her and jumped out the window, running off into the night.
"What have I done…?"
Rita watched the poor blind dog run away until he was out of sight.
"Genius Mage…right…" Rita mumbled to herself.
Repede has left the party…..nice going genius.
