Rose was walking through the hot, burning desert of Mojave, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl where following her (as usual). They had recieved a strange signal coming from there, the only noises heard where the ones from the sand mixing up with the wind until Amethyst decided to break the silence.
"Ugh its too hot, can't we just wait until night and keep looking?"
"No" said Garnet "We can't wait until night, it will be too cold even for us"
Pearl said: "Yes indeed, we can't just leave any threat wandering around here, it's too dangerous even if there is no singal of life! We must p-" Pearl was cut off by Amethyst
"Protect earth and all of its living beings, from the smallest to the largest, i know you repeat that like a hundred times a day!"
Rose was more concentrated in finding the "signal" than caring for Amethyst and Pearl starting a discussuion, sudenly she saw something weird moving quickly.
"Stop" she said "I saw something..."
The four of them hid behind a nearby rock, they saw what appeared to be a corrupt gem with shape of a spider, it was fighting a man with a machete and a revolver, it had scars all over his right arm and face, he was wearing a leather jacket with a black shirt, blue jeans, a white hat and shades. He was violenlty fighting the beast and then the man defeated the gem poofing it back to it's gem form, the crystal gems where impresed by the fact that a human being could take out a gem using only a machete and a revolver, after the man grabed the gem he saw in the direction where the crystal gems where, he walked slowly and menacingly at the gems, the gems started to take out their weapons including Rose herself, the man stopped 2 meters away from the rock until he made a quick movement cutting the rock in half revealing the gems.
