Roto had always had a fondness for her line of work. The destruction and chaos that came with being one of Professor Pester's goons was quite enjoyable to her. The only thing she failed to find enjoyment in was her who she was working for her, but she had since accepted that there was nothing she could do about that, and that she might as well just sit back and enjoy her work regardless of that one detail.

Today was supposed to be like any other day, go about causing general mayhem towards the local gardeners. However she had been sent to intimidate a new resident to the village and make sure they knew who to fear.

She had been walking for about half an hour when the place she was meant to wreak came into view. It was a relatively small cabin with a straw roof. It was a striking contrast to the rest of the village - which it sat on the outskirts of. It looked like it had just been built, the windows suspiciously clean looking, and looking into them would reveal the place wasn't even furnished other than a mattress sat in the middle of the living room.

Roto took a few steps into the yard, scanning the area a bit before a tiny whirlm caught her attention. It was an older looking purple variant with a buttercup on its head. She kneeled down to it, slowly picking it up and staring down at the creature. She suddenly stuffed it into her side pouch, getting a startled squeak out of it response.

She stood up and turned around before finding a short young woman staring up at her with fear and a hint of familiarity in her eyes. She had dark skin with freckled cheeks and dark curly hair. Her mask was colored yellow, pink, purple and blue with a heart hanging off the tip. She wore a yellow T-shirt that had a pink heart surrounded by purple and blue squares.

Roto stared down at the almost soft looking young lady. Her brain flat-lined, something about the girl's appearance paired with her shyish stance was almost… heartwarming.

The girl spoke up in a rather distressed sounding voice. "P-pardon but… that whirlm isn't yours." She took a step towards the ruffian, slowly reaching her hand towards her. "Ple-please give Pixi b-back…"

Roto watched the timid girl before regaining her train of thought and shoving the girl's arm back down with a loud cackle. "Is that her name? Pixi? Well thanks now I don't need to think of a name for her! She's in good hands, trust me."

"B-but…" The girl's voice cracked. She was shaking a bit and tears filled her eyes. Suddenly she cried out, her voice more distressed. "Please! That whirlm is all I have left of Roto!"

Roto stopped dead in her tracks. She was the only Roto and yet she had never met this woman in her life. She stared down at the pleading girl before finally speaking up.

"What's your name?"

The girl quickly responded, fidgeting with the bottom of her shirt as her nerves visibly shot up. "Quill… my name's Quill Bailey…"

Roto stared at Quill. There was something familiar about that name, but she couldn't quite place her finger on what it was.

She sighed, pulling the whirlm back out of her bag and placing it gently in the girl's hand. She couldn't figure out why she had suddenly decided to return the tiny creature, but something about this girl told her she could trust her to take care of it.

"Just… take care of it. I'll be back, Quill."

She took a few steps backwards, before turning on heel and sprinting away. Letting the girl watch on in a familiar sense of confusion.
