im back! so this is yet another poem written for Creative Writing class a few years ago. i put it in my school's literary magazine and everyone seemed to love it so i figured id post it here. for anyone that doesn't fully understand it, the assignment was to write a poem about movies
The woman screams
The doctor backs away
Her breath is heavy
He quickly understands
The police ask what happened
Did you see his face?
When did this happen?
Where did this happen?
Endless questions for her
The emotional wreck
Her boyfriend won't touch her
For respect or disgust?
Everyone she knows
They try to sympathize
But she knows
They only pity her
The audience watches
All at the edge of their seats
Waiting, just waiting
To see what will happen next
