Hello. Since it is my 15th birthday today (April 15) I will be giving you a special oneshot. Have a nice day, enjoy the *potentially rushed but idec* oneshot.

With a gentle moan, Lavender Garmadon rolled over in his bed. The ticking of the clock had somehow woken him up. Peculiar, that was, that it had been able to wake him in the first place. With being raised in a volcano most of his life, he would think little sounds like dripping, bubbling, or ticking wouldn't wake him. The face of the clock read 5:01 a.m.

He propped his hands on the sides of his bed and pushed himself into a sitting position. After rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, he glanced to his right to see if his brother was still asleep. To his surprise, Lloyd Garmadon was awake. He sat cross-legged on his bed with a bright smile on his face, like a child on a Christmas morning. Lavender opened his mouth to question how his blond twin wasn't exhausted at the early hour, but quickly closed it when he noticed the 37 empty cups, which previously held coffee, on the floor.

"Lloyd, why are you awake?" Lavender finally asked, pushing his jet-black hair from his face so he could rub his eyes again.

"Look at the calendar, dummy." Lloyd giggled gently.

With a roll of his eyes, Lavender opened the calendar on his phone.

"Oh... that's today?" he mumbled, glancing up at his twin brother.

"Yep yep yep!" the hyper blond pulled the ravenette out of his bed and into the kitchen.

Lavender sighed heavily. Their 19th birthday. It was the second birthday he would actually be spending with his family, and not sitting around hoping his father would remember. He felt awkward about the whole idea, though. Since he was a baby, he had been raised by his father Lord Garmadon. He was always too busy to remember the little things like his birthday. Heck, Garmadon could hardly remember Lavender's name! (he had a tendency to call him "Laurence" or "the kid"). But now he lived with his mom, Lloyd, Lloyd's best friend (former nemesis), and their older sisters.

On the table was a stack of pancakes and 23 cups of coffee.

"Lloyd. What the hell." Lavender mumbled.

"Oh, what's all the coffee doing there? Hehehe..." Lloyd quickly gathered the mugs and placed them in the sink to be washed later.

Lavender sighed a long, dramatic sigh and shook his head in disappointment.

"Anyway, the pancakes are for you! I already ate."

Lavender skeptically glanced at his brother, worried that there might be a twist of some sort. He moved half the stack to another plate and gave them to Lloyd.

"I won't eat much. Maybe the pancakes will cancel out the- how much coffee did you drink?"

"Not much-" Lloyd was interrupted by Chen Andrew, who walked into the room to take away the cup of coffee Lloyd was holding.

"He took 37 to your room and had 23 out here. I just took away the 24th. Soooo 60." The brunette placed the mug in the sink.

Lavender sighed deeply, "We're gonna need a lot more pancakes to cancel out 60 cups of coffee."

A moment later, Koko Garmadon entered the room greeting her sons with a sweet 'Happy Birthday'. Lloyd hugged her tightly while Lavender, confused by any physical affection, stayed in his seat at the table.

"So, what do you two wanna do today? Anything you want at all." Koko said, releasing from her tight hug with Lloyd.

"Anything...?" Lavender asked, glancing at the orange-haired woman.

"Anything."

Lavender and Lloyd exchanged glances. They knew exactly what they wanted to do.

"Are you sure about this?" Koko asked, pulling the car into the parking lot.

"Positive."

"For sure."

"Okay, but... keep Chen with you; I have work."

The twins (lmao and Chen) got out of the car and waved as Koko left the parking lot.

"U-um... so. Lasertag...?" Chen looked from Lavender to Lloyd.

The blond nodded, "We've both always wanted to go together. Now we can."

"Yep." The ravenette agreed.

Chen moved closer to Lloyd as the trio walked into the building. It was dark inside, but it was somewhat comforting in the darkness. Lavender signed the three of them up and they waited. Soon enough, the trio was inside and beginning their round of lasertag. Lloyd and Lavender made a secret agreement to team up against Chen, since he had no lasertag experience whatsoever. The twins crept around, shooting anyone they came across. Eventually, all that was left was the twins and Chen, who was hiding somewhere in the room.

"Where did he go?" Lloyd whispered.

Lavender shrugged, "split up."

Lloyd nodded and rolled out, searching for his brunette friend. He searched every corner of the room, but with no prevail. When Lavender and Lloyd met up again, they both sighed in defeat. That is until one of them saw a red laser pointed at them, and a short "pew!". Lloyd groaned.

"I'm out? Ugh..."

Shortly after Lloyd was shot, Lavender was as well. Stepping out of the shadows nearly 20 feet away was Chen with a big smile on his face.

"Looks like I win then."

Lloyd, Lavender, and Chen walked through Ninjago City after their deemed "unfair" round of lasertag.

"Lloyd?"

"Yeah, Lav?"

"...thanks." Lavender whispered.

"For what?" Lloyd tilted his head confused.

"Well," Lavender looked up at the afternoon sky, "for being a great brother, for actually remembering our birthday, for not making today only about yourself, and...-"

"You... aren't used to this, are you?" Lloyd whispered.

Lavender shook his head and sighed. Lloyd hugged his twin and whispered, "you mean so much to me, Lavender. Happy birthday."
