Summary: Everything supernatural is made up, a myth, something invented to scare little kids. So what happens when one day you receive a letter from someone you don't know, claiming its all true. Who knew that one letter would change your life forever.
A/N: Hey everybody, I know that I have been missing for a while. I am really sorry about that. You guys are great readers, and thank you for all the reviews.
This story has all canon couples, with all the vamps having the same background info. Bella and Charlie have changed but I am trying not to stray to far. I am not promising anything, especially with Bella.
I know that I have been a little unreliable when it comes to this story and it sucks. Believe me, I know. I am not going to be telling you if there are changes about Bella anymore you will just have to find them out as you go. Sorry, but it leaves it a little mysterious.
Sorry guys, I know I am changing the story slightly, but the whole phoenix thing doesn't quite fit how I wanted the story to go. Read from beginning.
Disclaimer: I do not own Twilight, that is all Stephanie Meyer.
Preface
I pulled up to the beautiful house in the meadow, noticing that it seemed empty.
That's strange. When Alice called she proclaimed we were going shopping, said I had no choice in the matter, that I had to be at the house at one, then proceeded to hang up.
I should have known something was up from the phone call, but I was to focused on thoughts of Edward that I wasn't really paying attention.
Walking in the front door I knew immediately that no one was home. I guess it wasn't just the men who went hunting this time.
As I stepped into the living room I noticed a figure in the corner. It wasn't anyone in my family, I could tell that instantly. I pulled out my phone deciding that I would call now and apologize later for interrupting family time.
But before I could dial his number, the figure stepped into a small amount of light the sun cast through the glass wall, their skin faintly glowing.
Her strawberry blonde hair lay straight and perfect, and her angelic face was calm, though there was an underlying tone that screamed, I am a psychotic bitch. Yeah, that's attractive.
I know I should ask her why she is doing this, but I'd be lying to myself if I said I didn't already know.
I took him from her, or a least that's what she thinks. She had no claim to him, and he certainly did not want her. That has already been cleared up. He was mine, and I had proven that several times over.
I stood completely still, I wasn't afraid of her. Though I probably should be. I could try to run up the stairs to a bedroom. Maybe hide, but we both knew that would not happen. I would not make it past the first step, and a locked door definitely would not stop her.
I watched as she crouched forward slightly, this was it. I knew it wouldn't last long I had already tested her temper, and she would try to finish me before they knew what was happening. But as she stalked forward, I prayed for the first time since I was five.
Please be here soon.
A/N: I know that I have already edited this story but coming back from a while of not writing I am having to go back through and reread what I have written. It strange and disorienting for all of us. Sorry about that. From here on out I am going to work my hardest to keep the entire story consistent. I have taken down the characteristics I posted before deciding that if you want to know the changes you will just have to read it.
If you have any questions or stuff you want to see in the story let me know. Review, message me. I will think about your suggestions, but this is my story so I might ignore it. Be warned.
