Amaterasu

My light had gone

I was running halfway through the corridor when suddenly their footsteps were gone

They left me alone

I had searched them everywhere but none to be found

In this darkness, I was nothing

In this blackness, shadow was dissolving

Wind rushed from the opposite, sound of the door opened

Automatically my feet carried me toward that side

It was so bright, so bright

It was blinding me, the light

Adrenalin, competitiveness, and joy

That wide smile, the fun, the happiness

But they felt so far away, things that we lost on the way

It was so bright, so bright

It shone like rainbow, the light

Red, blue, green, purple and yellow

They mold together, they glow

It was so beautiful, that made me vow

To bring again that light when we are in one row

Amaterasu is a part of the Japanese myth cycle and also a major deity of the Shinto religion. She is the goddess of the sun, but also of the universe. The name Amaterasu derived from Amateru meaning "shining in heaven."
