Regina Mills was a perfectionist and liked everything to be in perfect order according to how she wanted things, which included how the toilet paper roll was put into the holder. The toilet paper should always hang over the top of the roll and it must never hang down from under the roll. It was just not how the roll was supposed to be.
So when she spent the night at Emma's apartment and noticed that the toilet paper roll was on incorrectly in the blonde's bathroom Regina took the roll off of the holder and put it back on so that the toilet paper went over the top.
"Did you switch my toilet paper around this morning?" asked Emma while she was cooking breakfast for both of them.
"Why would I do that, dear?" answered Regina as she brought her coffee cup up to her lips to hide her smirk.
"Oh I don't know why, maybe because you are a type A control freak," said Emma as she waved around the spatula she was using to cook the eggs with. "Please know that I say that with the utmost affection for your control freak ways."
"I resent that remark, Miss Swan," said Regina with smile.
"No I think you meant you resemble that remark," Emma said as she made her way over to give Regina a kiss. Emma got a little carried away with the kiss.
"Hmmm, I think your eggs are burning, dear," said Regina against Emma's lips.
"Ah shit!" exclaimed Emma as she rushed over to turn of the stove. "They are not burnt too bad but I can cook some more if you want me to."
"I can handle slightly burnt eggs if I can keep getting kisses like that from you," said Regina with a full blown smile on her face.
"And just for the record you are a type A control freak but that is one of the many things I love about you. But please just leave the toilet paper roll alone next time," said Emma as she put the eggs and toast on plates.
"You love me?" said Regina with awe in her voice.
That stopped Emma as she realized the implications of what she had just said. "Yes, I love you Regina Mills," she replied as put the plates down on the counter as pulled the brunette up off of the stool and pulled her body flush with her own.
"I love you too, Emma Swan and I promise not to leave your toilet paper roll alone, but just so you know it is supposed to go over the roll and not under," said Regina as their lips met in a bruising kiss. "I promise not to switch your toilet paper roll again but I need you to promise not to switch the toilet paper rolls from over to under in my house when you move in," said Regina when their kiss had ended.
"What? Move in!" exclaimed Emma.
