"My heart bleeds for her mum, my heart bleeds for her and I don't know what I will do now that she is most likely going to marry Jim and I have lost her forever mum I don't know what to do." Mike said looking down at his hands and fiddles with them. He tries to hold back his tears in front of his mother.

"Look Mike I don't know, would you like me to talk to her tell her that you still love her.?"

"No that will just make everything worse and then she will know how much of a coward I really am. She obviously has no feelings for me anymore." Mike yells at his mother with angst and love in his voice that does not go unnoticed by his mother.

"I am going to go lay down." Mike says to his mother. He walks over to the stairs, tears pouring down his face. He gets up to his room takes out his camera and looks at all the pictures of Kate, his one and only true love. 455 photos in total of her, he pulls out his chord plugs one end into the computer and the other in the camera and clicks the sync button and calls the album 'Katie' he knew he was the only one who could ever call her that. He sets all the photos as his background and clicks photo story and puts their song on and just sits there looking at all the photos he took of her, in her bikini, sundress, uniform, and casual clothes. He lets all the tears just pour out and let it hurt and let it bleed. He touches the screen when he sees his Katie blow him a kiss. He prints off that picture and hops on to his bed and hugs the photo and cries himself to sleep. A restless night was to come.

Meanwhile Kate was at Jims thinking if Mike still loved her but she knew he didn't she knew he had a thing for Maxine and that they had a son together, she decided that she loved Jim and was never going to love Mike again.

3 Days Later

Mike was still on shore leave and so was Kate he felt his phone buzz, he took his phone out and looked at the caller ID Maxine White, he was praying it was Kate but he knew she was with Jim.

"What do you want Maxine?" Mike asks stubbornly.

"Mike you have been crashed sailed a refugee's boat has gone down with 100 P.O.B, Kingston and Huon are also out there for the search there are 90 people missing and I need you out there to help with the search. You are due to set sail at 14.00 hrs. Fair winds Mike."

"Ok, Maxine. Can you let the rest of the crew know please. See you when we return to base."

Mike hung up the phone and sighed. Great now I have to get on the same ship as her, I swear my heart is going to stop beating. I need this woman, I love her but how am I supposed to tell her now that she is marrying Jim. I better let mum know what's happening. With that Mike made his way down to the kitchen and let his mum know what was happening.

He got in the car, put his keys in the socket turned the key hit the stereo put on his favorite CD and the one song that always makes him think about him and Kate, (Come Wake Me up by Rascal Flatts.) Mike arrived at the docks at 13.00 hrs and just pulled up and saw Kate and Jim lip lock. He was absolutely disgusted at what was going on in front of him. He walked on to the gangway saluted and boarded Hamersley.
