When she laid first eyes on him,
Her heart skipped a beat.
His smile
Illuminated her soul.
He introduced himself:
Zack.
She introduced herself:
Elena.
They met in Midgar.
The slums
Wall Market
to be exact.
They were
assigned as partners.
To apprehend
Don Corneo.
The mission
went off
without a hitch.
That was the end.
They met up again.
and quickly became friends.
They spent time
talking about themselves.
Elena shared her story.
She resented her sister,
Performed Martial Arts,
And was a Turk.
Zack shared his story.
He was a country boy,
He wanted to be a hero,
And was in SOLDIER.
Thanks to Shinra.
They were able
To spend a lot of time
Together.
As they grew closer,
Elena started
To see Zack
In a new light.
She watched
From afar
As he grew more handsome
And made more friends.
As Zack got older
He started to get hounded
By girls wanting
Dates with him.
He refused.
Of course.
For only one person
Had his heart.
Elena had trouble
Holding down her jealousy.
She cursed Zack
And started to avoid him.
Zack wanted
To set things right.
And confronted Elena
To talk things out.
They managed to
Fix their friendship.
But they wanted
Something more.
Soon after,
Elena confronted Zack.
Said that she loved him.
His eyes stared into hers.
Zack grinned.
Said he loved her too.
Their lips met
In a blissful meeting.
All was well.
For the two.
They didn't care
What the company thought.
Unfortunately,
That changed
When Zack
went to Nibelheim.
She received news
of his death.
She couldn't
believe it!
She and Cissnei
were tasked with
searching for him
and his friend, Cloud.
When she found him,
She begged him
to come with them.
Zack agreed.
Tseng told Shinra
that the Turks
had already struck
Zack down.
Elena and Zack
fled Midgar.
And lived life
in Modeoheim.
