I really wanted to try a story like this, so read on, tell me what you think!…...
"I bet I get you to fall madly in love with me again by the end of this trip"
It's been a ruff couple of months for Castle and Beckett. Their relationship hitting a bumpy road to say the least. From the arguments, to her kicking him out every other night, Rick finally decided to put his foot down. He wasn't willing to chance for them to break up, he can't let her go, even if the last couple of months have been hell for him, for the both of them. Still, he will try. He will always try when it comes to her. That's why they're currently waiting in the elevator of the hotel that Castle chose to stay at for the weekend with his beloved fiancé who is at the moment infuriated with him that he brought her here. She had more important things to do, for instance the giant case that she was so close to cracking, but apparently to Castle, Esposito and Ryan can take care of it.
"humph" Kate puffs out disagreeing with his last statement.
"You call me bluff?" Castle asks defensively, but sure of himself.
Kate just raises her eyebrow at that, still the teasing never ends, whether it be cold or not.
"Alright, just wait." He says knowing very well that she is so going to fall back in love with him, maybe even tonight. Keeping his hopes high for their relationship, their marriage, because it means the world to him, and even if Kate doesn't want him to think so at the moment, he knows it means the same thing to her. He's not leaving this hotel until they figure out their differences. Figure out their relationship, their engagement for Christ sakes, that thing that they have been holding off for a while now due to everything else they have been trying to do. Like their job in general. She hardly comes over to the loft anymore caused from lack of sleep 'So Kate says'. That hasn't been easy especially when all Castle wants to do is rekindle their flame. He wants to marry her. He even wants children with, that is if she wants children. They have been engaged for the past year now and they still haven't even set the date for the wedding. Once again work. Work. Work. Work!
Rick tries to hide the pain behind all of her mental jabs at his ego. Like when she begins to talk about how they should take a break. She constantly separates them. Making them have way more distance from each other than Castle would ever like. Or when she accuses him of being unfaithful on book tours. That was a tense night in the Castle house when he got back from Frozen Heat. It's not only her though, Castle definitely does a toile on their relationship as well.
From rumors in the paper about Kate being pregnant to Castle pushing too hard on her and so on. Not to mention the little detail on the fact that they haven't had sex in about two months. Yeah that is not helping anything either.
Castle just hopes that he can manage to pull this off. Winning her heart back. Getting them to where they use to be, happy.
