"Maybe, there's a problem with the tech?" Edaline said as she wiped the tears off my face.

"No. I already asked. More like begged." I said walking past Grady and towards an area with lots of sunlight.

"Well, maybe you can go to Mr. Forkle and demand to fix this." Grady said handing me the home crystal.

"Grady, you know she can't do that." Edaline said before I could respond.

I was sprawled on my bed still upset about the matchmaker's scroll. I never thought I'd be upset that I'm not going to be able to get one. I wasn't really upset about that though. What was I going to tell Fitz? That I can't be with him because it'll ruin his reputation? No, he'll still want to be with me. I thought about it for a moment and realized what I was supposed to do. I wanted Fitz to enjoy his life without having the scorn of me. So, I had to tell him I didn't want to be with him anymore. I had to break up with him. I had to tell him I didn't like him even if I do. I took a deep breath and told myself, You're helping the love of your life by telling him you don't love him. I got up from my bed and walked out of my room, telling Edaline that I'm going to Everglen.

(At Everglen)

"Hey, Sophie! What brings you here? My brother or me?" Biana said.

"Both, actually." I said nervously walking towards Biana's room with Biana by her side.

"Oh, really? Why me?" Biana said with raised eyebrows.

"I need some advice." I said as I sat down on Biana's bed.

"No, first you need to give me advice." Biana said sitting on the frame of her bed.

"Me? Okay, I guess." I said confused why Biana would ever want my advice.

"So, I may or may not like Dex…." Biana said nervously twisting a lock of her brown hair.

"Biana! That's amazing!" I shrieked forgetting my problems.

"Yeah and part of the reason is because you and Dex are like brother and sister and Fitz and me are brother and sister, so I thought it would be nice…." Biana said.

"Oh." I said. If I break up with Fitz, Biana…She'll be so upset.

"So, do you think I should tell him." Biana said.

"Of course! I know he's going to say yes!" I said with a giant grin

"You really think?" Biana asked as I started to nod.

"Ok, so what advice did you want from me?" She continued.
