Zeke knocked on the door for the fifth time. He knew Sharpay was home, but she was so angry that she was not about to open the door.

"Sharpay, please!" he opened the door, and poked his head in. "Come on, Sharpay!" he yelled again.

"No! Go away!" she yelled from her bedroom.

He stepped inside the apartment, and closed the door behind him. The place was a wreck; Sharpay had really let herself go. He knew it was his fault.

"Sharpay, I'm…I'm sorry." He sat down. "I knew it was so important to you…I don't know what I was thinking."

Two days before, Sharpay was the star in a play in the theatre down the street. She had never let go her dream of becoming a famous actor and singer. She was usually a background person, and a couple times she was the main part's friend, but this time she had gotten the main part. If her performance was good, her career would've had a great start. Having her boyfriend in the front row meant the world to her, but he didn't come. The play went great, but Sharpay's heart was heavy.

"Listen, Sharpay, I really wanted to come. I'm serious, but I… I got busy."

Sharpay slammed open he door and walked over to him. "You liar! You were at a bar with Troy!"

Zeke took a look at her. Her mascara was smeared; he could tell she had been crying. She was wearing a small tank top and baggy sweatpants. She had a beer in one hand. She had never been this upset.

It was true; he had been at a bar. He had gotten the nights messed up; he thought the next night was the night of the play. He tried explaining his to Sharpay, but she wouldn't take it.

"Well, it obviously it wasn't a big deal to you if you couldn't even remember the date!" she yelled.

"Yes it was! You don't think I care about you?!" he screamed.

She walked up to him. "Well, it doesn't look that way!"

"Oh, please, I do tons of stuff for you, but I mess up one time and you go baserko?"

"UGH, you are UNBEARABLE!"

"One time, Sharpay!"

Sharpay threw her beer bottle at him. He ducked, and it smashed into the wall. She opened the cabinet and pulled out a large dish. She turned back to Zeke with anger.

"You gave me this, right?"

"Yeah…"

She dropped it on the ground and fished a large teapot. "This, too?"

"Sharpay, no-!"

She slammed that against the counter top. She then pulled out a bowl that Zeke had made her for her past birthday. She was about to slam it on the ground when she saw the words written on the bottom' 'I love you more than anything.'

She set it down and sank to the floor, where she began to weep. Zeke walked over, and hugged her to his chest. Through her tears, she began to speak.

"I'm so sorry…I just…it felt like you didn't care, when I didn't se you there. I…

I got scared that you were mad or something…"

Zeke wiped away her tears. "Don't be sorry…it's my fault."

She leaned on him smiled, and he wrapped his arms around her.

"Sharpay?"

"Hmm?"

"The bowl…it…I meant it."

"I love you, too."
