Shaken Up-A Shake It Up Story

"So CeCe, what do you think?" Rocky held up an adorable dress.

"I love it." CeCe replied.

"Hmmm….but…pink?"

"I think it looks good on you." a girl with platinum blond hair sashayed up behind Rocky.

"You are?"

"Lola Greenwood. Newest Shake It Up Chicago dancer. I saw you guys on it this week."

CeCe nodded. She immediately got a bad impression of Lola. She seemed to be that kind of girl who was super popular, had all the latest clothes, and was, to put it simply, a spoiled bitch (brat).

Lola tossed her blond hair over her shoulder and scanned CeCe. She (CeCe) was wearing a jacket, a tank top and a denim skirt over leggings.

"Oh, hon," Lola said, rolling her eyes (Rocky had gone to the dressing room) "you should seriously consider throwing out that wardrobe. Or, burn it, why don't 'cha?"

CeCe gritted her teeth. "Why don't I burn your face?"

"That doesn't make sense." Lola smirked. She opened her Gucci handbag and applied a thick, shimmering, coat of Cheery Cherry lipgloss. She smacked her lips loudly and applied a second coat. "Better."

Rocky came out of the dressing room, holding the mountain of clothes she was going to buy.

"Omigosh! I just couldn't decide so I'm taking all of them!" Rocky squealed.

Lola seemed, to CeCe anyway, to totally drop her mean girl act when Rocky arrived.

"OMG Rocky! You have great taste in clothes." Lola gushed. CeCe rolled her eyes.

Shake It Up Chicago~Saturday

"Good job everyone!"

The camera turned off and the dancers stepped off the stage.

"Good job Rocky." Lola smiled. CeCe was behind Rocky. "You too, CeCe."

Rocky grinned.

"So, I was going to go to Pad Thai (A/N: I love Thai food so now Lola does too) Pavilion and wanted to know if you wanted to go too.

"Actually," CeCe began. "Rock and I are going to the Olive Pit."

"We are?"

Lola rolled her eyes. "Guess Rocky didn't know that."

Rocky looked down at her feet. "Um…I gotta go home anyway. See you guys."

Quick as a flash, Rocky bolted toward the studio doors.

Lola put a piece of gum in her mouth, blew a bubble and popped it right in CeCe's face.

"Oops."

She pulled it off her own face and sauntered away.

CeCe walked to the subway station, enveloped in a bitter mood. She wanted to rip the purple extensions right out of Lola's platinum blond hair. Or, better yet in her opinion, rip her head off.

When CeCe made it to the subway station, she saw Rocky sitting on a bench.

CeCe's jaw almost dropped when she saw Gunter and Tinka talking to Rocky. WITHOUT MAKING A MEAN COMMENT!

"Hahaha. See you guys later!" Rocky exclaimed. CeCe ran up to her.

"Rock, why were you talking with Gunter and Tinkle!"

Rocky looked at her. "Cuz." CeCe ignored that. "Hey Rocky…is Lola…your friend."

Rocky smiled. "Yup."

"Oh…" CeCe said. She stared down at the ground, looking suddenly interested in the concrete, the gum carelessly tossed on the ground, the job listings fluttering in the wind, the plastic bag tumbling around. Rocky plunked down on the bench next to her.

"CeCe, I know you're feeling left out, but maybe if you warm up to Lola-"

"NO! Rock, she's a devil!"

Rocky looked a bit hurt.

"Whatever." she walked toward the subway that had just pulled up to the station.

CeCe followed. Now, how could this mood be lifted?

The next morning, CeCe was optimistic. She put on her favorite clothes, made her little brother bacon, and went to the window to yell to Rocky.

"ROCKY!"

Silence

"R-O-C-K-Y!"

"Shut UP!" a random person yelled.

CeCe frowned and ducked inside and shut the window, disappointed. It seemed like Rocky hated her! Maybe she'd just go to Rocky's apartment to talk in person.
