Remember how you end up marrying Gaia? Well, this poem takes place during current times, and it's Gaia, basically telling off mankind (Adam) for the ecological damage we've done.

Adam, you don't remember coming to Eden.
You don't remember the time it took,
How many lives were sacrificed.
Do you honestly think you were always human?
No, I have seen it,
Guided you,
Through all of it.
But for you, the past is gone.
You were supposed to marry me!
But I see no love from you.
Unless, to you, sludge is champagne
And I got no ring.
All you do is take from me.
I will have no more of it, Adam!
You can go the way of the dinosaurs.
I'm done protecting you.
