" You can't come here any more" A women's voice rang through the night , not loud enough to be heard over the busy traffic of new York, but clearly heard by the figure in front of her. "Pardon?'' the man was clearly startled.
" You heard me" she said steadily , even as a glimmer of tears shone through her eyes. " I am fairly certain that I may have misunderstood what you just said" he snarled in return." I do not understand, what brought about this change of mind?" She sniffled. " It's too dangerous, last time you where here Shield almost caught you! Whenever you come you endanger my son. Do you want Percy to live as a lab experiment for the rest of his life?"
"Can I at least say goodbye ?"
Pity flashed in her eyes. She hesitated before answering. "No".
" Then heed my will for his future , and allow me to give a parting gift" He did not await an answer but went right on ahead." On his 11th birthday, give him this'', handing over a thin white envelope. " When he arrives he will know what to do."
The women gasped in surprise. " this, this is amazing!" she gushed. The man smiled slightly, then asked " I will get to see him again." It was not a question. she nodded. "You will , but when he is older and is ready. "
He smiled his most genuine smile that night. " Good bye Sally " he stepped forward, kissed her on the cheek, and left in a minute flash of light. She stared at the spot for a moment longer , green eyes imprinted on her mind forever.
This is a re write of my original story only this rewrite will have more of a plotline. Just so the masses know I cannot update regularly, but will do my best to be often. There will probably be short chapters at first but will probably get longer. Due to a problem in my arm I cannot type properly and it goes very slow for me. Please review and give me ideas on what to do and if I like them , perhaps I can incorporate them in my story. Thank you
