A percabeth proposal story. Should be 4-6 chapters. All rights to Rick Riordan! I don't own Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Thanks!
Annabeth's POV
A new song played over the loud speaker. I couldn't believe it. Piper and Jason married. Before Percy and I. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be standing at Piper and Jason's wedding reception, in a dress no less, 24 and not even engaged. Our friends had been telling us that we acted like a married couple for years now. I hoped Percy would pick up on the hint, but no. What was taking him so long? I mean he was the one who made all the plans for New Rome and our life there. I shot a glance at him. We made eye contact from where he was standing over by Jason and Frank. My eyes blazed a little too hard from my anger and frustration. Percy gulped. Opps!
Percy's POV
I gulped. Annabeth was giving me her, I'm angry and you'll never figure out why, look. "I think she's getting a tad bit English." I stated, stress clearly dominating my voice.
"Good luck with that one."
"Thanks Leo. We'll all be laughing when you're in the same position." Leo stalked off at this, muttering something about Tiffany Diamonds not being open past ten.
"Can you blame her? You guys have been dating for like a decade. Why haven't you proposed?" Jason said, his mind clearly following Piper dancing with her cousins on the dance floor. My mind whirred as I tried to come up with a reason. I loved her. I loved her. I loved her with all my heart. I loved Annabeth. I wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of my life from her. So, why hadn't I proposed?...Finding no good reason, I turned to Jason.
"I promise, by the time you and Piper get back from your honeymoon, I will be engaged." In one week I would be engaged. Assuming she said yes. She wouldn't say no. Would she? Oh gods.
