Here's my first fanfic, so if there are mistakes or misspelling...sorry.

Snowstorm woke in the medicine cat den seeing the sun shine through the branches of a willow tree. "I love newleaf." shee said to herself.Flowerpaw was sleeping soundly...as usual. Snowstorm looked at all of her herbs and berries seeing what she needed more of.

"Lets see," Snowstorm said thoughtfully."I need more poppy seeds,watermint and borage leaves."

Flowerpaw just became a medicine cat apprentice, so she needed to learn the ways of healing, so she decided to take Flowerpaw to get the herbs. "Psst, Flowerpaw, wake up...WAKE UP!" she screamed. Flowerpaw woke up in an instant.

"DON'T EAT ME MR.POTATO HEAD!!!" Flowerpaw screamed. Snowstorm stared at her. "sorry, I had a bad dream." she said. "Well you can think about potatos later, we need to look for some medicine."

Flowerpaw suddenly screeched,"YAY, I'M GOING TO LOOK FOR HERBS!!!!!" "SHH!You'll wake the elders!"Snowstorm said,annoyed. "You already did."said a riverclan elder across the camp."Let's go." urged Snowstorm.

"Where are you going?" said Snowstorm's Sister, Rainstripe.

Rainstripe was a Light gray she-cat with 5 darker gray stripes and a white underbelly and white paws."We are going to collect herbs."Flowerpaw answered."Can I come?"Rainstripe asked,her lime Green eyes sparkleing."Wait, I was about to go hunting..." "Well the fresh-kill pile is getting low, we'll see you later when,Bye"Snowstorm said heading off to the marsh.

"What are we looking for again?"Flowerpaw asked.

"Poppy seeds,watermint and boarge leaves.Poppy seeds are to soothe and made you fall asleep,they are very helpful.When watermint is chewed into a pulp, it helps bellyaches and borage is used to bring down fever and helps queens supply milk."Snowstorm explained."Look! See the leafy plant, thats watermint."

After they collected the watermint,poppy seeds and borage,they headed back to camp and went to the freash-kill pile."I'm starving!" said Flowerpaw and Snowstorm at the same time.Snowstorm took a fish and Flowerpaw took a mouse."Finnaly leaf-bear is over, we have more freash-kill"Snowstorm said happily.
