Beck and Jade have been living together since they finished college. It was Saturday night, so Tori invited Jade and Cat for a girls night out to celebrate. Meanwhile, Beck, Andre and Robbie were going to stay at Beck and Jade's apartment and watch the Basketball League.
Jade: "Are you sure you don't mind if I go to a pub with them?"
Beck: "Of course I don't mind. Have fun (kisses her). And take care."
Jade: "Ok. I love you".
Beck: "I love you too baby".
Jade takes her car and drives to pick up Tori and Cat.
It was now 11 p.m. The game was already over and Andre and Robbie had left. Beck was randomly switching channels, when the news caught his attention. A car similar to Jade's crashed into a tree and three girls were at the hospital. But they didn't reveal their names. Immediately, Beck grabs his phone to call Jade. She doesn't pick up. He tries to call Tori instead. Nothing. Finally, he calls Cat. But she also doesn't answer her phone. He starts getting nervous. He tries again to call Jade. And again. And again. He tries to calm himself down. But he starts sweating. What if she lost her? He doesn't know what to do. It's already midnight. He calls Jade's mom. But she doesn't know where she is either. The time passes by and he is extremely worried about her. It's already 1 a.m. Suddenly, someone opens the door.
Beck: "Where were you?"
Jade: "I was at the pub with the girls. Why?"
Beck: "Where is your phone? I've been calling you for hours, and you didn't pick up."
Jade: "It's in my purse."
Beck: "Of course it is. Why do you have a phone if you don't answer people's calls? You might as well throw it away."
Jade: "Why are you making such a big deal out of this?"
Beck: "Because, Jade, I was worried about you. There was this car accident, and I though it might be you. There were three girls involved. None of you answered my calls and I was desperate to talk to you and make sure you were fine." He explained.
Beck: "So next time you better pick up the damn phone, otherwise we're going to have a big fight. Did you understand?" He said firmly, raising his voice. It was a rare occasion when he raised his voice at her.
Jade: "Yes. I'm sorry..."
Beck: "Alright."
Beck goes to the kitchen to grab some water to drink, while Jade heads up to the bathroom to wash out her makeup. She hates when he scolds her like this. It makes her feel awful. She couldn't control the tears going down her face, even though she knew there was no reason to cry. Beck enters the room as she tries to hide her face from him, but he notices her sniffling.
Beck: "Jade, are you... are you crying?"
Jade: "No..."
Beck sighed.
Beck: "Come here". He pulls her into a hug.
Beck: "I didn't mean to upset you." He says softly.
Jade: "It's fine. I don't know why I'm so sensitive today."
Beck: "Sorry I yelled.. I was afraid something bad had happened to you."
Jade: "Let's just forget it."
Beck: "I love you so much". He kisses her neck.
Jade: "I love you too".
