Scene taken from script me and a few friends are working on.
(SCENE 1: NIGHT SKY ABOVE GOTHAM CITY. A BAT SHAPED SYMBOL APPEARS ON THE CLOUDS. A DARK FIGURE LEAPS OFF A BUILDING. SCENE CHANGES TO COMMISIONER GORDON STOOD ON TOP OF THE GCPD BUILDING. A FLUTTER OF A CAPE. HE TURNS TO SEE BATMAN FACING HIM.)
Gordon: Thank god you came. Gotham's under chaos.
Batman: What's the problem?
Gordon: There's a bunch of thugs who escaped from Arkham lurking around the Narrows. They've mugged three people, and murdered 5 more. It turns out that they're boss is planning something big.
Batman: Any details?
Gordon: Just this.
(GORDON HANDS BATMAN AN EVIDENCE BAG. INSIDE IS A COIN AND A PLAYING CARD. BATMAN TURNS THE BAG OVER, TO REVEAL THAT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN IS BLACKENED, AND THE PLAYING CARD IS A JOKER CARD.)
Batman: I'll take a look.
(HE JUMPS OFF THE BUILDING. SCENE CHANGES TO A DARKENED ALLEY IN THE NARROWS. BATMAN IS STOOD AT THE NED OF THE ALLEY, AND NIGHTWING AND ROBIN ARE STOOD NEXT TO HIM.)
Nightwing: So this is where you traced it back too?
Batman: Yeah. The coin has traces off mud on it. I managed to track it back here.
(GUNSHOTS. THE THREE DUCK OUT THE WAY. ROBIN THROWS A FLASH GRENADE AND IT LIGHTS UP THE WHOLE ALLEY, TO REVEAL ABOUT 20 THUGS CARRYING MACHINE GUNS. BATMAN, ROBIN AND NIGHTWING GRAPPLE TO THE TOP OF THE BUILDING. THEY JUMP DOWN ON TOP OF THE THUGS. BATMAN USES HIS WEAPONS DISRUPTER, AND THE GUNS STOP FIRING. THEY START FIGHTING THE THUGS, BUT MORE COME INTO THE ALLEY.)
Robin: We're outnumbered!
(BATMAN IS STILL FIGHTING)
Batman: We have to keep fighting!
Nightwing: But how? We won't be able to defeat them all!
(SOUND OF WEAPONS POWERNG UP. ENERGY BALLS STRIKE MOST OF THE THUGS IN THE CHEST. A SHIELD WITH A STAR ON IT KNOCKS THE REST OUT COLD. IRON MAN AND CAPTAIN AMERICA WALK INTO VIEW)
Iron Man: Figured you guys could use a little help.
Batman: Thanks. But this city belongs to us. We could have taken them down.
Captain America: Well…let's just say that you've caught the eye of someone very important. He'll be in touch with you very soon.
Nightwing: We'll look out for him. Thanks for the help.
(CAPTAIN AMERICA AND IRON MAN NOD. THEY TURN AND WALK OUT OF THE ALLEY. IRON MAN FLIES OUT.)
Batman: The goons we just fought belonged to Joker and Two-Face.
Robin: Joker I can understand, but I though Two-Face was dead.
Batman: It seems not. Let's get back to the bat-cave.
