Hope
Yugi. The author of all ills in his life, and at the same time his only hope for the future. The delicate-seeming boy had crushed all the he had managed to retain of the happiness that he remembered them having, but it was through the same teen's actions that the brothers were beginning to be rebuilt.
Mokuba wanted to take his brother away, to hide him safely in their home where no one could hurt him anymore, but that was impossible. People wouldn't leave them alone, and even if they would, Seto needed Yugi. As Yugi's penalty game had broken the brother that he had become, so the boy's trust was slowly building him back up again. Despite everything, Set was getting stronger, was beginning to believe that he could be himself again.
Yugi's gentle smile, his trust, his friendship, and most of all his ability to win without any of the ruthlessness which Seto had been taught was showing them a new truth – a new goal to strive for. Perhaps someday he could simply be himself again, without needing to hide himself behind the ruthless, uncaring façade which Gozoburo had forced him to create. And maybe when that happened Mokuba could try to be himself too.
