One Piece's Trafalgar D. Water Law is NOT mine, all credit goes to Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece The character that I am using, Xesia "Lan" Northblood is a random original character. Please feel free to review.
Books, rulers, pencils, pens, papers, and erasers were strewn all over the floor, desk, and bed. A slumped figure lay on the desk, sleeping. Groaning, she brought her head up and turned on her phone which was beside her head. It flashed a battery with little red lines on it and a charger icon. Cursing, she tossed her phone onto her bed and looked at the digital clock in front of her, but the screen was blank as the battery had died, probably over night.
Cursing some more, she leaned back into her chair and reached for the top drawer of her desk and found her air horn. Sticking in her ear plugs, she pressed the button and felt the can vibrate as the loud noise went off. She set the air horn down and quickly took off her ear plugs and waited. Stumbling could be heard across the hall. A door violently opened and an angry voice shouted out at the world.
"WHOMST THE FUCKETH USED AN AIR HORN AT 3 : 13 AM! I WILL FIND YOU AND BEATETH THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF YOU IN THE MORNING!" An angry door slam followed the loud outburst.
Mm. So it's 3 : 13 am...Shit. I have to do my shift tomorrow at the hospital... The female stood up and stretched before grabbing the papers on her bed and transferring it to her other table which was across the room and near a window. She dropped the papers, books, and tools on the desk and shuffled to her bed. Grabbing her phone, she looked for her charger, plugged the phone and set it on her desk before falling facedown on her bed. Not caring to put the blankets over herself, she passed out.
He woke up because of who knows what, but he groaned as he knew that he couldn't get back to sleep once he had woken up. Tapping around for his phone on his nightstand, Trafalgar D. Water Law rubbed his face with his other hand. When he had turned on his phone, his face scrunched up and his eyes shut as the bright light flashed on his face. It took a little before he could open his eyes fully and read the time. 4 : 32 were the big numbers on his phone that made him roll out of bed and stumble into the shower.
He came out of the shower with a towel around his waist as he had forgotten to bring his clothing. Grabbing his boxers, he quickly put it on and started looking at his closet. Grabbing his darker blue suit, he tossed the jacket onto his bed and wore a white shirt.
"Fuck. Where the fuck's the pants? I swear I had folded it on the hanger," Law cursed as he pushed aside the clothes one by one to find the matching pants for the suit. He found it on his bed. Apparently, it was thrown with the jacket.
In about five minutes, the man was out the door, fully dressed. He glanced at his watch that read 4 : 42 as he walked down to his black 2017 Lotus Evora 400. The car's light flashed on the side view mirrors as he unlocked it.
Sliding in the car, he turned on the engine and drove off to Estolia Haven Hospital. Not much cars were around on the highway on this early morning and Law was enjoying the quiet in his car. He had just taken a slight left up a ramp to get to the Central Estolia when his phone started to ring.
"Fucking hell," Law muttered to himself as the phone automatically answered to disturb the silence.
Hello Law. This is Helena. I would like to inform you that the seven o'clock surgery has been moved forward to six o'clock. The board meeting will still be at ten o'clock. Unless there's an emergency surgery required, you are free after the board meeting. Is there anything that you would like for me to prepare or aid you with, sir? Helena paused as her smooth voice cut through the pine scented car.
"Is there a reason why the surgery has been moved forward by an hour?" Law asked as he looked at his rear view mirror and merged with the main highway.
The patient has been getting more symptoms and has been worrying Bepo. There is a possibility that the patient's surgery can be moved to six thi— Helena was cut off as Law's clear voice came through.
"No. I think it's best the way it is. Surgery is at six o'clock, no excuses. Tell Bepo to do the best he can to stay with the patient. Knowing Bepo, he's stayed with the patient through the night. Either way, I'm passing Regalia Fountain so I'll be there soon," Law said as he honked at a car that was changing lanes opposite of the blinker lights.
Drive safely, Law. With that, the call ended and Law was left with the silence again, silence in the car and idiots on the roads.
"Hmm. Good flow with a mixture of idiots on the road today," the man mumbled to himself as he took the exit and stopped at a red light. Rubbing his neck, Law yawned and looked forward. "This may be an interesting day. Very plausible."
