a/n: hello again! I know, I probably should be focusing on my other stories, but in the light of the new Twilight movie, Which was AMAZING by the way, I thought I would write this. Wrote in the same format as "I Will Pronounce Your Name" by Leopold Sedar Senghor. Written in Bella's point of view. I also stole the part about the fruit from the Garden of Eden, (not directly stole but I guess the idea about the apple…) so that is also not entirely mine. Please Read and Review!

Disclaimer: I do not own Twilight. If I did, I would be watching the movie about fifty times in a row right now.

Edward, I will pronounce your name:

Edward.

Edward, you are smooth as the glassy lake,

Still, Unmoving,

The moonlight reflecting off its surface

Edward, you are the nightingale's song,

Softly strumming through the air,

Dancing gracefully across my unworthy tongue.

Edward, you are the rising sun,

Silent, Swift,

Warming my heart,

Stealing my breath with your splendor.

Edward, you are the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden,

The most desirable of them all,

Mouth watering,

Always out of reach.

Edward, you are the intoxicating aroma of the sun,

Floating, curling around me

Enveloping my body,

Filling my soul,

the sweetest smell.

Edward, you are the stars at night,

Twinkling against the impossibly large navy sky,

Devastatingly beautiful,

Always there for me.

Edward, you are the quintessence of goodness,

Who'd give up everything

to protect his family,

his loved ones,

me.
