That feeling you give me…
All this time I've watched the days go by
I've watched your eyes shine as green as the bay
You have always had me thinking why
Oh why does my heart feel this way?
What is this feeling you are giving me?
Every time and everyday I see your face
Deep inside my soul I just feel so free
Oh if only time could pick up the pace
And so I wait for us to become one
Suddenly came the day that you were gone
And now that everything is said and done
Everyone believed that the war was won
But no one knew my feelings for you
You allowed me to see what was true…
Unnamed poem…
When we first met I knew you detested me
But after a while you could see who I could really be
I knew that after that day I would never be the same
You once thought I believed this was all a game
That is not true
Everything I did I did for you
So you could finally see who I really am
At times I used to wonder if you ever gave a damn
But after that day when you finally let go
What you did was all I needed to know
I knew that you cared for me
But you knew nothing would stop me from reaching my destiny…
I look deep into your ember eyes
I watch as the flame slowly dies
The burning flame within them burns bright
And I know that this war must end tonight…
A/N: So yeah, these are just two poems I did for my final English grade last year. I got a B for the first one and a C for the second(probably cuz there's one curse and I have no idea if I used that form for poetry right) personally I like the Po poem more…Anywhoo I wrote these around the time when I saw Kung Fu Panda 2(AWESOME MOVIE) and I immediately became obsessed after watching it. So anyways, first poem is in Tigress's POV I think I got a little OOC around the middle and if your wondering about the war thing, well, I just started thinking about Transformers when I wrote "everything is said and done," and their never ending war, which had a bitter sweet ending in Dark of the Moon(ANOTHER AWESOME MOVIE! But why all the DEATHS! T^T) ANYWHOO! As you can guess the second poem is in Po's POV, anywhoo, hoped you enjoyed it!
