"I HATE YOU!" screamed Yuuta on top of his lungs. Anger overwhelmed him as tears threatened to fall out.
"Saa, Yuuta," said Fuji softly, trying to calm his brother down. With a smile on his face, he said, "I'm sorry."
Yuuta stopped. He turned around to face his elder brother.
"Do you even know what you're sorry for?" Yuuta glared at him.
Fuji didn't reply. His smile vanished and his eyes were now wide open.
Deep down inside the sapphire orbs, sadness was all you could see.
"Then just shut up!" he said as he stormed out, slamming the door behind him.
"Yuuta, wait!" Fuji shouted as he went to chase after his brother.
But it was too late; Yuuta was already starting to cross the road.
Just then, something caught Fuji's eyes.
He turned around and saw a car speeding towards them.
It was until then only Yuuta realized that he was in great danger.
He froze on the spot as his body was unable to react.
As the speeding car was about to hit him, Yuuta felt a pair of hands on his back, pushing him forward.
Although he fell, he wasn't injured badly.
Suddenly, he heard a faint crash. He looked up and saw the car speeding away. It seems like someone was a hit and run victim.
Although there were some cuts on his knees, he urged to stand up and help the person that saved him.
Lying face up a few meters beside him was a petite light brown haired teenager.
At first, Yuuta didn't recognize the boy as his appearance was blurred by the blood and cuts on his face. His body was also covered with fresh blood, deep cuts and bruises.
Yuuta froze, shocked at the terrifying scene. Somehow, thought Yuuta, this person seemed familiar.
Then it struck him.
Yuuta rushed beside the boy and whispered in his ears, "Aniki?"
Slowly, Fuji' eyes fluttered open as he turned over to face Yuuta. "Yuuta?"
Unable to control his emotions, tears flowed down Yuuta's face.
The person that saved him was none other than his beloved brother, the brother he envied, the brother he hated.
"I'm sorry, Aniki. I'm sorry." He apologized as he tilted his brother's head like a mother to a baby.
"Saa, Yuuta," smiled Fuji wearily. "As much as you hate me, I'll still love you."
A sad smile appeared on Yuuta's face as he realized once again, he can never hate his brother.
