All I do,
I do for you,
Live through the pain,
Abuse,
Torture,
Harsh, mocking words.

Searching for the boy
I used to know,
And seeing only
This boy,
Embittered,
Hopeless,
Lost.

And as the whip lashes
Ceaselessly,
Unendingly against my back,
I close my eyes,
My world in pain,
And remember my quest
For the boy I loved
And am satisfied to wait
With you.
