This is just a short little follow up to Golden Boy Potter for a certain user named vampsruleswolvesdont. Thanks for the review and I hope this chapter is what you expected. Actually, if anyone else is interested in me writing follow up chapters or something, just drop me a review or send me a review!

I will never forget what the Scarred man looked like as he clung to the bars of his prison and the hope in his eyes as the Golden Boy appeared before him. His oily, tangled shoulder black hair and his ripped robes fresh from the cells of Azkaban and the dullness in his eyes that at once sparked with new found hope as he saw the Golden Boy and the Kind One Granger. I remember how he had looked at me, in awe as the King One Granger freed him from his imprisonment and I remember the warm feel of The Golden Boy's hand on my flank. The Scarred man stepped out and walked towards me.

I knew he meant no harm, I had gleamed that he was of no threat from the very first moment I had laid eyes on him but I reared up in a defensive stance all the same. The Scarred man stopped and stood still for a moment before bowing down low. His eyes did not leave the ground the entire time he was bowing and only when the Golden Boy touched his shoulder did he look up to see my bow. He was not frightened, no, he was far from frightened but instead he was grateful. He was so grateful and as he looked up I saw it shining in his eyes and I could feel it too, like a warm golden glow that calmed me.

He had the look of a man that had seen too much and suffered great pain in his life but I could feel something, something that was so great that it seemed to smother all of these feelings and helped to dull the pain. In his heart, I could feel love. Love for his godson, the Golden Boy,love for his parents and love for his one true remaining friend, The Werewolf Lupin. They were the four people he cared most about in his entire life, no one else mattered to him, not his parents, his siblings, his teachers. They all were insignificant compared to the four people in his heart. I suddenly realized. He was so grateful that I was here to help him to avenge the people he cared about in this world, he would defend them and right the wrongs in his life and to help a man like that, I was honored.

The man climbed aboard me and took a deep breath of the cool, night air. Then he whispered to me in a voice so much like gravel, " Thank you my dear friend, for helping me of all people. I will forever be in your debt but for now, fly like you have yearned for the buffets of the wind and the light of the moon for decades and take me where I shall be safe." Courage radiated off of him and I spread my wings. I looked at the Golden Boy and saw that he was smiling, waving to his godfather and the Kind One Granger waving beside him and I began to run. I heard the Scarred man call out farewell apologies and for a second there was silence as we ran off the roof of the castle altogether.

And then I flew, I flew as fast as I could do just as the Scarred man had told me to a haven where the two of us may be safe.
