Alienated

Our lone world turns,
A blue speck in the shadows
Filled with millions of peoples
And me.
I've come to realize over time,
That even though I try so hard,
I can never be
Like everyone else.
People will never understand
How I see the world
Why I think the way I do
And why I am the way I am.
And in this blue speck of millions,
Filled with peoples homogenous as water,
There is no escaping the truth.
I'm alone.
