Aches and Pains
Chapter 1
"An Unusual Feeling Arises"
The demon butler of the Phantomhive Estate, Sebastian Michaelis, had finished putting his young master to bed for the night and was making the rounds. When he finished, he went to his own quarters to wait for morning to come. He was reading a book of his when suddenly there was a pain in his side that was worse than anything he had gone through before in his entire lifetime. He nearly screamed at the pain. He tried to stand to find something, anything to ease the pain, but to no avail. His legs gave way and he fell to the floor.
By the time he had woken up, the pain has passed and it was daylight outside. He got up and prepared his master's tea and breakfast for the morning. He was wheeling the cart up to his master's room, when it came again. That white hot pain that shot through his side was worse that last night. He clenched his teeth and leaned heavily on the wall. The pain soon (mostly) subsided, and he was moving again. He had made his way down to the dining hall after Ciel was dressed for the day and watched him eat as always. And then... The pain was back. He beared with it and smoothly told Ciel a reason why he needed to leave the room.
"Young master, if you'll excuse me, I need to start the day's chores."
"Alright. I'll go to my study when I'm done here."
Sebastian bowed and quickly left the room. However, he did not start chores. Instead, he went straight to his room to once again find something to aid the pain. When he still couldn't find anything, he just decided to lay down for a while. The horrid pain wouldn't go away. He didn't know what to do. So he just lay there, in a fetal position, holding his side, when he fell into a deep slumber again.
