Well, here's another completely random drabble from me. 300 words, and this one's waaaaay more random than the others. Don't ask me where this came from, I have no clue myself.

No pairing…well, it can be RizaxEd if you want, but that's optional.

Bang. Bang. Bang.

Hawkeye paused, staring at the target. The last shot was slightly off center. Not enough to make a difference; it was still technically a bull's eye and would have been a killing shot in real life, but it was enough to irk her. She didn't miss all that often, but when she did, it bothered her terribly for some unknown reason. Sighing heavily, Riza raised her gun once more.

Bang. Bang.

She was in an exceptionally bad mood today. She didn't like it when she allowed stupid things to affect her...like a bunch of stupid, scattered memories...

Bang.

Edward Elric, inducted into the military as a state alchemist at the age of twelve. A prodigy, a genius, wise beyond his years.

She reloaded the handgun, feeling annoyed. She had not been close with Edward. So why, suddenly, did everything remind her of him?

Every time she saw a blonde head or a red jacket, she would double take. Whenever she noticed how quiet the office was, it made her sad.

She let out a low growl and emptied a cartridge into the targets head. She had not been close to Ed. Roy had…did Roy dream about him? What about Gracia and Elicia? Hell, even Havoc and the others had been closer to Ed than she had…

So why wouldn't he leave her alone?

Bang.

"I wasn't close to you. I wasn't your friend."

Bang.

"I know you're gone. I'm sorry. I really am. But I didn't even know you that well."

Bang.

"Go away. Go bother Roy and the others. They're the ones you should be following…not me."

Bang.

"Why are you always on my mind? Why do you seem to follow me everywhere? Why me?

"…go away. Leave me alone…"

Bang.

"Please…just…stop haunting me…"

Bang.

I suppose my reasoning was that you expect people to write reactions to Ed's disappearance from the POV of people like Roy, Al, and Winry. So I wrote Riza, thinking basically the same thing…it should affect those people, not her.
