The sun was shining at Tarrytown Airport- which was the perfect weather for the Annual Easy Airlines Spring Festival. People came from far and wide to enjoy the rides, fun and food that were on offer.
However, Brenda Blue, Tarrytown's mechanic, was not having fun.
She had to rush around inside the hanger, finding parts and then using it to fixing the jets.
This took her all morning and everyone except Herky was fixed.
"Herky, it looks you'll have to miss the festival I'm afraid." She said sympathetically
"Why?" asked Herky looking upset.
"You still need to have your rotor repaired, and it will take a while."
"It's not fair." moaned Herky, who began to cry. He was upset- he looked forward to the festival.
"Calm down Herky," Easy O' Malley soothed. "You can still be in the festival."
"I can't!" wailed Herky. "My rotor needs to be repaired!"
"Cheer up Herky!" Jay Jay said. "Brenda might have to tune up my engine."
Herky did feel slightly better about it.
...
He felt even better when his rotor was fixed a few days later. He beamed when he tested it out after Brenda Blue finished repairing him.
Meanwhile, Jay Jay didn't feel well at all.
"Now Jay Jay," said Mr E.Z O'Malley. "We are hoping to get you fixed by tomorrow."
"I hope so as well." Added Jay Jay.
"Right I've found the part Jay Jay needs!" Exclaimed Brenda Blue.
"Excellent Brenda."
"So does that mean I can attend the festival?" Asked Jay Jay hopefully.
"The only problem is it might make you tired so that is undecided yet. But we'll fit it and see what happens."
Mr E.Z O' Malley oversaw the fitting of Jay Jay's new part. When done, he surprisingly didn't feel tired all! IN fact, he felt brand new!
...
The next day, thousands of people flocked to see the Annual Spring Festival. All the jets at Tarrytown performed well without a fault, and everyone enjoyed themselves.
This made the planes feel special.
