Prologue
"You will be dead by Friday," the man on the phone rasped.
"E-excuse me, who is t-this?"
"I'm just warning you," the man ignored her question.
"I want you dead! You have been ruining my plan!"
Chapter 1.
Lisa Balskey jumped down the stairs two at a time, she was so happy about what just happened. John Jackson the cutest boy in Midnight Breeze Highschool, asked her on a date!
"What should I wear?" she wondered aloud
"What, honey?" her mom asked from the kitchen.
"Oh, John Jackson asked me on a date, and I have nothing to wear."
"Yes you do, how about the shirt with the unicorn on it, it's so adorable!"
"What the heck, mom, I'm 17!" Lisa answered.
"Well, than you can take the viper tonight and go shopping, when's the date?" mom asked.
"This Friday night." Lisa answered with excitement in her voice.
"Your not going, you have your job interview."
"Darn, can't I get outta that?" Lisa asked sadly.
"No! Your going!" mom replied harshly.
"Mooooom, you treat me like a kid!" Lisa whined.
"You're not going and that's final!" mom answered firmly.
Ugh! I'm going anyway, this could make me the most popular girl in school! I'll just sneak out... yes, I'll sneak out!
