Disclaime: No, I DON'T own Castle. All I own is an Alexis Castle RPGaccount. But I'm planning on buying my own Nikki Heat copy in the near future, as well as the first season of Castle on DVD^^
When detective Kate Beckett walked into the precinct on a Monday morning, she was surprised to see Castle bouncing a basketball on the floor. She shook her head. "Castle, what the hell are you doing this time?" He looked up from bouncing the basketball and grinned. "And a good morning to you, detective." He said, grinning his Castle grin. Kate sighed. "You do know that if you break anything playing basketball here, it's all on your account? Not that I mind you've finally found something else to do beside following me around." He shook his head. "On the contrary, detective. This is research for Nikki Heat."
Kate frowned. "Research? Is she gonna participate in a basketballcompetition or something?" Castle grinned. "No. Actually, I'm trying to figure out how she'll react on statically electricity." He said. Kate shook her head. "You're insane." She said, putting her bag on her desk. Castle grinned, and poked her, giving her an electric shock. "Castle!" She shouted. "Can't you do this to anyone else?" She complained.
Castle shook his head. "You're my muse, aren't you?" "Do you want me to break both of your legs?" She threatened. He grinned. "We both know you'd never do that." She glared at him. "Try me, writerboy, just try me." He grinned, and poked her again, giving her another shock. "If you ask me to."
She groaned, and started doing her paperwork. Meanwhile, Castle kept poking her, giving her some painful shocks. After a while, she was sick of it, and glared at him. "Will you stop that." She hissed. He frowned. "Why would I do that. I'm doing research, that's why I'm here for." "It's annoying. And I don't care how much protection you've got, if you keep poking me, I will hurt you." He pretended to be hurt. "Your words wound me detective. Don't you like the sparks flying around?" "If you keep doing this, sparks won't be the only thing flying around."
He grinned. "Is that a confession, detective? Are you finally admitting how much you like me?" She shook her head. "In your dreams, writerboy." He smiled. "No, in my dreams this would go a little more different. For example, you'd-" But Kate cut him off, slapping her hand across his mouth, and receiving another shock that way.
"Ouch. Enough Castle, there's no way that'll ever happen. Now shut up and go annoy yourself." "Now where's the fun in that?" She was about to say something in response, when her phone rang. "Beckett." She said into the phone, listening to whoever it was on the other side of the line. She nodded. "Yeah, be right there." She said, putting her phone back.
"Dead body?" He asked her, while poking her again. She nodded, happy to escape this shocking madness. "Are you coming or what?" She asked him, leaving the precinct. He nodded. "Wait, I've got to take something with me!" He shouted, taking the basketball with him. Kate groaned; this was going to be a long day.
A/N: Okay, so this is something random I though of during my geography class. I'm suffering another headache, but writing seems to help^^
No, I didn't make this up. I was bouncing with one of the new basketballs during gym class, and when one of my friends touched me doing that, she got a shock. I tried again, bouncing and poking, and I kept shocking her. It was quite funny xD. So yes, the basketball part makes sense.
Oh, and I don't know how many of you have read 'What's taking them so long', which ended with an offer of writing Paula and Will's POVs, but if you still want those, I'm gonna need 2/3 more fans for the idea. Fans should either PM me, or review the fic I just spoke about.
Oh, and don't forget to REVIEW this fic^^. They always make my day!
